Renaming of Ridge Garden condo sought

THE City Council committee on subdivision, housing development, and landed estate, chaired by Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas, is now reviewing the request of AZ Developers to rename of “Ridge Garden to “Greenridge Residences”.

The developer is specifically asking for the amendment of Ordinance No. 15064-2025, the approved Preliminary Subdivision Development Plan (PSDP) of the proposed two-condominium towers located in Barangay Macasandig. This is to accurately capture the project’s identity, highlight its environmentally conscious design, and position it better for long-term branding and marketing.

During the meeting of the committee, Engr. Ferdinand Dy of the City Planning and Development Office said that, since the proposal has an approved PSDP, it should be referred to the City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD) for recommendation.

With this, the committee referred the matter to CHUDD for coordination and recommendation. (JBD/SP)
