Oro Dads ok supplemental budgets of 2 barangays
In its Monday’s regular session, the 20th City Council, presided over by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, adopted separate resolutions returning to the barangay councils of Barangay No. 1 and Barangay No. 29 their ordinances covering their supplemental budgets for CY 2023 with the information that the same are both operative in their entirety.
From its estimated income of P654,570.73, Barangay 1 has allocated P300,024.23 for expenses on various cultural programs and activities, trainings and seminars (capacity-building), bloodletting events, repair works and improvement of public toilet, repair and maintenance of barangay hall, among others.
Meanwhile, an allocation amounting to P399,046.99, representing its 20% development fund, was reserved by Barangay 29 for the rehabilitation of its multipurpose hall. This shall be taken from its estimated income of P1,404,333.86. The remaining appropriations of the aforesaid barangays are intended for personal services, non-office expenditures and maintenance, and other operating expenses (MOOE), The Gavel learned.
