Go joins groundbreaking ceremony for FICCOVILLE-IV Subdivision in Brgy. Lumbia

Councilor Gigi Go, chairperson of the committee on cooperatives, joined cooperative leaders, local officials, and community members during the groundbreaking ceremony of the FICCOVILLE-IV Subdivision on June 18, 2026, in Sitio Palalan, Barangay Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City.

The ceremony commenced with a blessing of the project site, followed by the symbolic laying of a time capsule, signifying the shared aspirations and vision for the development and the future communities it will serve.

In her message, Go emphasized the vital role of cooperatives in community-building and inclusive development. She noted the project reflects the broader mission of the cooperative movement, not only in promoting savings and financial growth but also in helping families achieve the dream of homeownership and a better quality of life.Also present during the event were FICCO President Nicolas H. Veronilla, Chief Executive Officer Edgardo A. Micayabas, Councilor Edgar Cabanlas, and barangay officials.
