Gaane asks SP to support DOH on acquisition of ambulance

COUNCILOR Maria Lourdes S. Gaane, chair of the City Council committee on health and health insurance, on Monday proposed a resolution supporting the intention of the Department of Health – Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) to acquire a land ambulance for the J. R. Borja General Hospital (JRBGH).

In her special report during the 7th regular session of the 20th City Council presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn B. Rodriguez, Councilor Gaane said the DOH-CHD Northern Mindanao submitted a letter expressing its intention to allocate funds amounting to P2.5 million for the purchase of the ambulance.

The land ambulance will be given to JRBGH under the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) of the DOH, Gaane added.
