Daba inspires studes at City College NSTP rites

Councilor Jing Daba IV commended the students of the City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) for their dedication and encouraged them to become responsible and service-oriented individuals who will contribute positively to society.

Daba was the Guest Speaker during the 2nd NSTP Badging and Completion Ceremony and Stakeholders Recognition of the CCCDO held last week at the City Tourism Hall.

The ceremony marked an important milestone for students who completed the National Service Training Program (NSTP), highlighting their commitment to civic responsibility, leadership, and community involvement.

The event also recognized the valuable contribution and unwavering support of stakeholders and partner institutions in advancing the college’s educational and community-based initiatives.

Councilor Daba underscored the importance of youth participation in nation-building and community development, emphasizing that programs such as NSTP help mold future leaders with discipline, patriotism, and social awareness.

Faculty members, school officials, students, parents, and partner stakeholders attended the activity in celebration of the students’ accomplishments and the continued collaboration between the institution and its community partners. (JAO/SP)
