City Council backs ₱112 million rice assistance for indigent residents

THE 21st City Council headed by Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez has approved a resolution endorsing the release of ₱112 million in rice assistance to indigent families, funded through the national government’s Local Government Support Fund – Financial Assistance to Local Government Units.

The said approved funds will be used to procure rice and cover distribution logistics to ensure timely delivery to qualified beneficiaries.
