CdeO Mental Health Board reconstituted

THROUGH the efforts of Councilor Maximo T. Rodriguez III and Councilor Paolo Nicolo Gaane, City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy signed Executive Order No. 260, amending EO 250, s.2024, to formally reconstitute the Cagayan de Oro Mental Health Board (COMHB).

The COMHB, reformed just in time with the celebration of World Suicide Prevention Month, is composed of mental health experts, stakeholders, and city officials who will work together to craft stronger policies, programs, and services that address the mental health needs of the city.

Through the reconstitution of the board, the city government of Cagayan de Oro reaffirms its commitment to advancing collaborative and holistic approaches to mental health care, ensuring that every Kagay-anon has access to responsive, compassionate, and sustainable support systems. (JDO/SP)
