TO reaffirm the city’s effort in promoting children’s rights and well-being, the City Council for the Protection of Children (CCPC) held its third quarter meeting, presided over by Councilor Jonjon Rodriguez, chairperson of the committee on social services.

The council discussed the status and updates of the Local Code for Children (LCC), the Child Protection Policy (CPP), and the Comprehensive Emergency Plan for Children (CEPC).

The preparations for the forthcoming National Children's Month kick-off activity, progress reports on the “Oro Kasanag” program were also discussed.

Councilors Des Dahino, Paolo Gaane, Kenneth Sacala, and Marlo Tabac attended the said meeting together with the members of the CCPC and the representatives from various government offices, non-government organizations, and schools.
