Bagong Buhay Muli accreditation to LSB OK’d

THE 20th City Council on its regular session Monday adopted a resolution accrediting the Bagong Buhay Muli Lingkod ng Filipino sa Pag-unlad, Inc. (BBMLFPI) for purposes of its membership in the Local Special Bodies (LSB) pursuant to DILG Circular No. 2022-083 and Article 64, Rule XIII of the Rules and Regulations Implementing the 1991 Local Government Code or funding its project from the city or other sources.

With an office address at Lapasan, BBMLFPI was organized on November 21, 2022, and duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an affiliate of a larger organization.


It seeks to unite, develop, and maintain camaraderie among its members in order to effectively address matters of common interests and concerns, with the end in view of achieving sustainable development for the communities, for peace and prosperity and to do and perform other acts and deeds necessary, convenient or accidental for the accomplishment of the above-mentioned objectives provided that it will not engage in any political partisan activity.


Among the services, the organization may provide or can participate in includes declogging of the canal, basketball league sponsorship, and clean-up drive.


The legislation was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on planning, research and innovation and people’s organization and accreditation and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Ian Mark Q. Nacaya and Edgar S. Cabanlas.
