21st City Council holds inaugural session

CAGAYAN de Oro City legislators of the 21st City Council headed by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez are all ready to serve Kagay-anons.
The legislative body during its Inaugural Session approved its Internal Rules of Procedure (IRP) to govern the conduct of its business.
The majority bloc elected Councilor Roger G. Abaday as Presiding Officer Pro Tempore, Councilor Edgar S. Cabanlas as Majority Floor Leader, while Councilor Joyleen Mercedes L. Balaba as Assistant Majority Floor Leader.
Meanwhile, as manifested by Councilor Yevonna Yacine B. Emano, the minority bloc agreed to elect Councilor Aga G. Suan as the Minority Floor Leader and Councilor Emano as Assistant Minority Floor Leader.
Vice Mayor Rodriguez welcomed all the members of the City Council saying that each one of them brings a unique commitment to serve the city’s constituents. (JBDacer/SP)
