Acenas acts on request for just payments to lot owners

REQUESTS for payment of just compensation to lot owners, whose properties were affected by city projects, were endorsed by the City Council committee on subdivision and landed estate chaired by Councilor Dometilo Acenas Jr. to the committee on finance, budget and appropriation chaired by Councilor Edna Dahino for recommendation and appropriate action.

The affected lot in Barangay Lapasan contains an area of 6,407 square meters. A portion of the area was affected by the J.R.Borja Extension road opening and concreting project.

There is also a request for the payment of just compensation for the improvement of a property located in Barangay 21, which was affected by the proposed 12.00-meter wide road opening of Baculio Street, Fr. J. Pacana Street to Manuel Vega Street.

Meanwhile, just compensation payment is also due to a lot owner for a 746 square meter property affected by the concrete paving of the road project at Zone 2, Lower Bulua to Sunflower Street in Barangay Bulua.

The requests were endorsed by the Office of the City Mayor, Local Finance Committee, City Budget Office, City Appraisal Committee, City Legal Office and City Engineering Office. (JBD)
