Dads OK Supplemental Budget of 6 barangays

SIX Barangays of Cagayan de Oro City can now start the improvement and rehabilitation of their respective barangays.

This developed as the 18th City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Jaoquin V. Uy, adopted separate resolutions returning to the Barangay Councils of Barangay No. 9, 11, 31, 28, Iponan and Kauswagan their respective ordinances covering their Supplemental Budget for 2017 for implementation upon noting that these are in order and may be given force and effect.

The Supplemental Budget of Barangay 5 has a total amount of P688,824, while the SB of Barangay 11 is P251,245. Barangay 31 has an estimated income of P570,440; Barangay 28, P632,864; Barangay Iponan, P1,904,501, and Barangay Kauswagan, P10,961,601.

The resolutions were reviewed and favorably endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively. (JBD)
