VICE Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy referred to the City Council committee on barangay affairs chaired by Councilor Yan Lam Lim for review the barangay ordinance of Baikingon for the strict implementation of the curfew law.

According to officials, minor children are roaming around in the evening and are frequently involved in various infractions of city and national laws.

The ordinance provides that no person under 18 years old shall be allowed to loiter, wander, stay or meander in all public places from 10:00 in the evening to 5:00 in the morning.

It imposes penalties against parents and guardians of minors found violating provisions of the curfew law. (SP)
