Maximo "Jonjon" T. Rodriguez III is a dedicated public servant and healthcare professional. He previously served as Chief of Staff to Congressman Maxie Rodriguez of the Abante Mindanao Party-list (ABAMIN) from 2010 to 2016. He was elected Barangay Captain of Barangay Nazareth in Cagayan de Oro City from 2018 to 2023, and was recently elected as City Councilor for the 2nd District of Cagayan de Oro City.

A proud alumnus of De La Salle University, he is a licensed physical therapist in both the Philippines and the United States. He also pursued his passion for food by completing the Pro Asian Cuisine Program at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies.

Notably, he was recognized for his outstanding contributions to mental health services at the barangay level, receiving the Best Mental Health Practice Award in 2020 during his term as Barangay Captain.

Known for his tagline, “Basta Kagayan, Jonjon. Serbisyong Tatak Rodriguez ‘Yan!” his advocacies focus on mental health awareness, welfare programs for PWDs, education, youth empowerment, cultural and culinary tourism.

He is happily married to Dr. Nathalie Rodriguez, and they are proud parents to two loving daughters, Ysabel and Olivia.
