Salcedo holds consultation, livelihood training in Brgy 26
COUNCILOR Enrico Salcedo, chair of the City Council committee on cooperative, continues to conduct cooperative consultation and livelihood training in various barangays.
Last Tuesday, October 2, this was held in Barangay 26.
The Power learned that over 70 participants attended the livelihood program, where they were trained on food processing, like salted eggs making and preparation of sweet sayote pickles.
It may be recalled that the committee started holding such activities last year.
Councilor Salcedo brought the training to Barangays 11, 22, 23, 25, 35, and Macasandig and will visit other barangays, The Power learned.
Councilor Salcedo said he is hoping that this cooperative consultation and livelihood training can help improve the lives of Kagay-anons, especially the poor.
“Pinaagi niining livelihood training makatabang kini sa ila nga tudlo-an sila para sa ginagmay nga pangnegosyo,” Salcedo said. (SP/JBD)
