Subd cmte backs awarding of lots to employees

THE City Council committee on subdivision chaired by Councilor Edgar Cabanlas favorably acted upon the request of Mayor Oscar Moreno for a resolution awarding a parcel of land at the Balangay Pangandoy Socialized Housing Project in Tibasak, Macasandig to some employees of the City Local Environment and Natural Resources (CLENRO).

This is in view of their exemplary work performance that resulted in the city’s bagging the 2018 Galing Pook award for its "No Vote, Ibot" No More: Ending the Political Bondage in Resettlement Areas by Providing Security of Tenure initiative, and the achievement of goals to emancipate “Piso-Piso Beneficiaries”.

Councilor Cabanlas referred the matter to the committee on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Nacaya for appropriate action.
