Goking graces Maritime Week celebration

COUNCILOR George S. Goking graced the 23rd National Maritime Week 2022 in the city, which bears the theme, “New Technologies for Greener for Shipping”, an initiative to reduce energy consumption in transporting goods by using new technologies and reducing environmental pollution.

Councilor Goking stressed that the new system of technology will boost the economy of Cagayan de Oro and the whole of Mindanao.

The fast transport of imported and exported goods to the city and to other parts of Mindanao can save time, money and effort, he added.

The councilor pointed out that economic recovery will not be too difficult if everything is in order.

Goking hopes for the delivery of better services to businessmen and the people through the Cagayan de Oro port.
