Dads approve MOU with TESDA-10 on Trainers Methodology Training

On Monday’s regular session, the 20th City Council enacted an ordinance authorizing City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-Region 10 (TESDA-10) covering the collaboration of the parties in the implementation of the Trainers Methodology (Level 1) Training.


The undertaking is related to the present administration’s RISE agenda which considers education as an empowering tool in the collective efforts to human development.

It is also in accordance to the mandate of TESDA to provide relevant, accessible, high quality and efficient technical education and skills development in support of the development of high quality Filipino middle level manpower responsive to and in accordance with Philippine development goals and priorities.


Under the MOU, the city, thru the CDO-TVI shall provide logistical resources, screen potential trainees and choose those who are qualified to participate in the program.


It shall also submit to TESDA-10, as required in the guidelines for the implementation of the program, the T2MIS report on enrollment, assessed and certified graduates, and learners’ daily attendance report.


For its part, TESDA-10 shall serve as the training provider on qualified trainers, training assessment and monitoring mechanism and endorse final list for the National Competency Assessment Exam, among others. The legislation was certified urgent by the City Mayor.
