Cash incentive to City Hall “Employee of the Week” okayed

AWARDEES of the “Employee of the Week” from the different offices of the city government for year 2023 may now receive their cash incentives of ₱3,000.00 each.

This, after the 20th City Council, during its regular session, presided over by City Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, enacted an ordinance authorizing the city accountant to charge the sum of ₱90,000.00 for the purpose.

The budget is under the PRAISE program (Rewards and Recognition Program), Employees of the Week, Golden Friendship Awards, and Honor Awards Program of the Office of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO).

The Committees on Finance, Budget and Appropriation and Laws and Rules respectively chaired by Councilor Yan Lam Lim and Edgar S. Cabanlas, sponsored the ordinance.
