DP of subd project in Indahag OK


dANOTHER subdivision project will soon rise in Barangay Indahag.


Through an ordinance, the 18th City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Rainier Joaquin V. Uy approved the application of MCDC Ecoverde Homes Corporation for Development Permit (DP) of Ecoverde Sierra Phase 2 subdivision project.


The Power learned that the subdivision lot covers an area of 22,538 square meters, containing 234 lot units.


The application for DP was endorsed by the City Housing Board and City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), with conditions that the subdivision scheme shall not be altered other than what is applied to except when prior clearance from the city is secured.


The developer is advised to plant trees in the areas designated as parks and playground, community facilities and encourage homeowners to plant trees within their yards in connection with the greening program of the city government.


The City Engineering Office also endorsed the application for DP. However, some measures that the developer should consider during development stage were recommended such as the dessilting/declogging of any siltation and eroded materials that may affect a waterway. Any residential area that may be affected by said development shall be the responsibility of the developer, city engineer cited.


Compliance to the undertaking as to the resizing of drainage line for outlet of Phase 2 drainage system (three lines/road lots) and additional area for detention pond shall also be considered by the developer, city engineering added.


The approved DP was endorsed by the committees on subdivision and landed estate and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Dometilo Acenas Jr. and Ian Mark Nacaya. (SP/JBD)
