Oro dads commend outgoing COCPO director for job well done

THE City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution, expressing the city’s sincerest thanks, gratitude and commendation to P/SSupt Robert Roy V. Bahian for his exemplary performance and sterling leadership as the director of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office from March 15, 2017 to March 23, 2018.

“It’s quite evident, clear and obvious that from March of last year until April of this year, Cagayan de Oro has enjoyed a very peaceful environment and both the residents and visitors of the city has been assured of a safe place to live in,” said Councilor Romeo V. Calizo, chair of the committee on police, fire and public safety.

The councilor, who is the proponent of the resolution, said commendation is due to the outgoing police director for such an achievement.

“That period is the coverage of the services especially the leadership of the former City Director of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO), under P/SSupt. Robert Roy V. Bahian. It is but proper that we should express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the said police personality,” he cited.

Vice Mayor Uy tasked Councilor Calizo to facilitate the invitation of the City Council to the new city director to appear during the regular session on April 23, 2018, for his courtesy call and presentation of his plans and programs for the city. (JAO)
