Budgets of nine brgys OKd

NINE barangays can now implement various projects and programs lined up for the year.

This, after the 18th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy, returned to the Barangay Councils of Mambuaya, Lapasan, Agusan, Nazareth, Barangays 11, 13, 14 and 30 their ordinances covering their respective annual budgets for 2018 for implementation. Also approved was the supplemental budget of Barangay Tablon.

The 2018 budget of Mambuaya has an estimated income of P3.9 million; Lapasan with P33.9 million, Agusan with P13.3 million and Nazareth with P10.3 million.

Meanwhile, Barangay 11 expects an income of P2.4 million this year, Barangay 13 and 14, both with P2.7 million and Barangay 30, P2.4 million.

The committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively, reviewed and endorsed the approval of their ordinances, with the information that these are in order and may be given force and effect.
