Proposed budget of city hospital for 2018 pegged at P293 M

THE 18th City Council Committee of the Whole headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy during its budget hearing of the Cagayan de Oro Executive Budget (General Fund a


nd Special Account-Economic Enterprises/Utilities) for Calendar Year 2018 presided over by Councilor Teodulfo E. Lao, Jr., approved in principle the proposed P293 million budget of the JR Borja General Hospital.


With this allocation, the city-run hospital is expected to fulfill its mission to provide excellent, efficient health care services through the state of the art facilities and equipments.


Its programs and projects lined-up for the coming year include the conduct of physical examination and diagnosis to all out-patients and in-patients, surgery, safe delivery procedures and provide quality and efficient healthcare to all patients.


The JRBGH will also continue to provide and perform different laboratory, radiologic procedures, dental examinations, proper dispensing of medicines and administer proper nutritional diets to all patients, and carry out efficient and quality healthcare to all patients and administer doctor-prescribed medicines.


Furthermore, it shall likewise set to carry out an effective administrative management towards hospital operations, adapt with Department of Health (DOH) programs and other health-related programs.

The city hospital is also set to upgrade its facility from level 1 to level 2 and procure one unit generator set, The Power learned. (JAO)
