Accreditation of rela assn under study

THE City Council committee on roads and traffic management chaired by Councilor Romeo V. Calizo, is set to take up the application of Camaman-an Motorela Operators and Drivers Association, Inc., for accreditation in the city’s Local Special Bodies (LSB).

This was endorsed by the City Planning and Development Office after finding that the association has complied with all the administrative requirements that would qualify as a civil society organization.

In his letter dated June 27, 2017 addressed to the City Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy, C’MODA President Mr. Ruel Latcha cited the growing demand of the riding public in Barangay Camaman-an. It was learned that there is a request for an additional route from Cogon Market, JR Borja Extension and Galaxy in Barangay Gusa to accommodate more passengers. (JAO)
