Desiree “Des” M. Dahino is a licensed psychometrician, educator, and mental health advocate recently elected to the 21st City Council of Cagayan de Oro. With over a decade of experience in private education and school administration, she has been at the forefront of advancing literacy, student wellness, and early childhood development.

A graduate of Psychology, Councilor Dahino has long been committed to education, women’s empowerment, and grassroots development. Her advocacies include strengthening early literacy programs, establishing mental health support in every barangay, and ensuring that government services are inclusive, responsive, and accessible especially for children and families.

Beyond her legislative role, she is also an entrepreneur and mother, driven by a vision of a city where no child is left behind.
