The task was to closely check a number of Christmas lights being sold in the market today. It also aims to ensure that the merchandise have passed the quality standards so as to prevent any untoward incidents in the coming Yuletide Season.

Among the establishments visited were Kaking Store, Unitop and Ororama Superstore in Barangay Carmen.

According to Councilor Goking, this joint undertaking will continue until all other business establishments are visited. He likewise called on the public to be cautious in purchasing various Christmas lights for a joyous and safety celebration of the holidays. (SP/JAO)
