2018 budget of Tuburan okayed


THE Barangay Council of Tuburan can now implement its projects lined up for the year.


The City Council during its regular session Monday, July 9, presided over by Vice Mayor Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution returning to the barangay its ordinance covering its annual budget, noting that it is in order and may be given force and effect.


The barangay has an estimated budget of P2.6 million as against expenditures of the same amount.

Out of the amount, P255,660 is earmarked for Sangguniang Kabataan, P127,830 for the barangay’s 5% calamity fund and P360,919 for its 20% Development Fund.


The barangay ordinance was reviewed and favorably endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively.
