Brgy 37 allots funds for rehab of drainage system
THE Barangay Council of Barangay 37 can now implement its programs and projects funded under its Annual Budget for 2018.
This, after the 18th City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy adopted a resolution returning to the barangay its ordinance for implementation, with the information that the same is in order and may be given force and effect.
Out from its total estimated income of P2,313,579.00 as against the expenditures of the same amount, an amount of P223,599.00, representing 20% Development Fund had been allocated for the rehabilitation of its drainage system and multi-purpose hall.
Meanwhile, its 10% SK Fund in the amount of P219,258 is earmarked for socio-cultural and sports development, leadership training, anti-illegal drugs program, election expenses and urban greening project, The Power learned.
The legislation was reviewed and endorsed in the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam S. Lim and Ian Mark Q. Nacaya respectively. (JAO)
