Kag Suzette commends DepEd-10 for launching Project C.D.O.

COUNCILOR Suzette Magtajas-Daba, chair of the committee on education, lauds the Department of Education (DepEd) for launching Project Competence, Dedication, and Optimism (Project C.D.O.) on February 15, 2018.

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare it today”, Councilor Suzette quoted, as she gave her heartfelt gratitude to the school officials, teachers and personnel who attended the event.

Councilor Suzette cited the need to bridge the gap between theory and practice. “The theories must be translated into practical approaches and methods, and we should thereby learn from the best practices gathered over the years,” she said.

The councilor said the project showcases the unending thrust of the Department of Education to go further and achieve greater things.

The project aims to consolidate the best practices that officials, teachers and personnel have accomplished over the years, and strengthen the internal organizati0n of DepEd Cagayan de Oro by building on the competence of its workers, enhancing their sense of commitment and promoting a positive and optimistic atmosphere, The Power learned.
