Dads OK just compensation payment to lot owners

THE 18th City Council during its regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy enacted separate ordinances appropriating the total amount of P2,071,098 for the payment of just compensation to lot owners whose properties were affected by the 20.00 meter-ride road in Macapagal Drive, Barangay Canitoan.

The amount will be charged against the city’s budget for Land Acquisition and Expropriation.

Legislators likewise authorized City Mayor Oscar Moreno to sign the corresponding Deed of Absolute Sale for the purpose.

The ordinances were reviewed and endorsed by the committees on subdivision and landed estate, on finance, budget and appropriation and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Dometilo Acenas Jr., Edna Dahino and Ian Mark Nacaya. (JBD)
