Waste mgmt law of Brgy 6 Okd

BARANGAY 6 can now implement its barangay ordinance covering its waste segregation law and impose penalties for any violation.

The City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy returned to the Barangay Council for implementation its ordinance requiring all resident, business operators and manager, lease occupants of commercial buildings, private offices, governments and non-government offices to implement waste segregation at source.

The barangay ordinance requires all owners to provide their own properly marked segregated garbage receptacles, to clean up their respective areas and observe the garbage collection schedule.

The barangay ordinance was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively.
