Funds for drug testing, Symphony of Lights OKd

THE 18th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy approved the Supplemental Budget No. 4 of the General Fund for 2017 with an estimated income of P22.7 mllion.


SB4 covers the budget for the mandatory testing of city and barangay officials and employees in the amount of P1.2 million and other maintenance and operating expenses.


Funds will also be used for the construction of a Composite Pit, a project of the City Health Office amounting to P417,555, the purchase of office equipment and payment of salaries and wages of personnel of various City Hall offices.


The city also allocated P6.5 million for the design, provision of lights and installation of Symphony of Lights, among others.


The supplemental budget was reviewed and endorsed by the committee on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
