SP OKs supplemental AIP

SUPPORTING the implementation of vital projects to deliver the best services to the city’s constituents, the 18th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy enacted an ordinance approving the Supplemental Annual Investment Program (SAIP) No. 2 of the city in the amount of P143.1 million.

This will be utilized for programs, projects and activities under the General Public Services Sector, Social Development Services Sector and Economic Development Services Sector.

The AIP covers peace and order and legislative collaborative programs and projects, the procurement of vehicles for the delivery of efficient services of some offices and the construction of composite pit for bio-hazardous wastes, among others.

The supplemental AIP was endorsed by the City Development Council to sustain the delivery of services to the people of Cagayan de Oro, which is consistent with provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991 and other pertinent laws.

It was reviewed by the committee on planning and development chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
