Salcedo willing to submit to drug test
This was stressed by Councilor Enrico Salcedo during last week’s radio program “Ang Konseho Karon: Mover of Change and City’s Development” with Councilors Reuben R. Daba and Ian Mark Nacaya.
According to Councilor Salcedo, he was disappointed that he failed to undergo the surprise drug testing facilitated by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) personnel since he was absent during the 55th regular session of the City Council.
Salcedo expressed his willingness to undergo drug test to show Kagay-anons that as an official he should serve as a role model to employees of City Hall as well as to the city’s constituents.
It may be recalled that last week, the City Council enacted Ordinance No. 13291-2017, promoting a drug-free workplace in the city of Cagayan de Oro through the conduct of mandatory drug test to all officials and employees in the city government of Cagayan de Oro.
