SP gives hats off to Kong Hua wiz kids

CAGAYAN de Oro city councilors are giving their hats off to two pupils of Kong Hua School who brought home medals from the China Primary Mathematics Olympiad last July 26 to 31, 2017.

Councilor Suzette Magtajas-Daba, chair of the City Council committee on education and Councilor Teodulfo E. Lao, filed a resolution congratulating and commending Benn Jethro Sia and Breann Jean Sia for giving honor and pride to the country and to the city for their achievements in the international Math competition.

It was learned that Benn garnered a gold medal for Individual Calculation, silver medal for Team Relay and bronze for the Individual Comprehensive category, while Breann brought home a silver medal for Team Relay, bronze for Individual Calculation and another bronze medal for the Individual Comprehensive category.

The resolution was adopted during the regular session Monday presided over by Acting Vice Mayor Lordan Suan.
